We founded Kanoa consulting in 2019, to help organizations and founders simplify the complex world of digital marketing, and take control of their total marketing strategy.

Over the previous decade, we worked at Google in California and Brazil, holding senior roles in the Ads and Marketing departments. When the time came to move our family from São Paulo to the Berkshires, we left Google, and created Kanoa together, bringing with us the best of what we learned while working with the world’s top brands. Kanoa's process draws heavily on Google's approach to data, innovation, and user experience.

With 30 years' combined experience spanning ad strategy, creative, production, content and influencer marketing, we bring to every project a diverse understanding of marketing and strategy, which will help you to market your business better. Thanks for the opportunity.

A native of São Paulo, Brazil, Kika Oncken Cook Dubin was one of the early leaders of the Brazilian ad industry’s move to digital, and has been at the leading edge of digital marketing for nearly 20 years. As a Media Director at Ogilvy she was responsible for the media strategy and positioning  for clients such as Unilever, American Express, IBM, Renault, SAP, and Telefónica. When she joined Google in 2007, she was the first person to sell YouTube and Google Display ads in Latin America, and created the sales strategy for these multi-billion dollar businesses. Her work in building these businesses earned her Google’s Impact Award, and the company’s second-most prestigious honor, the OC Award, which is given by the executive committee to recognize substantial contributions to innovation at Google. Most recently she led B2B marketing strategy for Google’s performance advertising products like Search Ads and Google Shopping, before leaving the company to move her family to the Berkshires, and start Kanoa.

Noah Cook-Dubin spent over 12 years at Google, working in several areas of the global ads business in California and Brazil. Most recently he served as Creative Director, helping Brazil’s top agencies and brands use Google’s products and data to create more effective ad campaigns. His creative work has been recognized by Cannes Lions, CLIO, Webby, FWA, El Ojo de Iberoamerica, Effie Awards, among others. Previously he established and led the YouTube Technical Production team in Latin America, hiring team members in 3 countries to produce large-scale live stream events including Carnaval and the Copa America soccer tournament. Before that he devised and executed display and video campaigns as the Account Manager for brands like Nike, Levi's, Amazon, and Walmart. He was part of the team that grew Google Display and Video ads to a $1B business in under 2 years, receiving the company's prestigious OC Award for contributions to innovation in the process.
